A bit of History about Benge Landscape LLC
INDENTBenge Landscape was founded in the spring of 1979 by Tommy Benge Sr. in Metairie, Louisiana. After working in the landscaping industry throughout the New Orleans area for several years, Tommy started his own landscaping company. He soon earned a respected reputation within the community by servicing friends and family. Benge Landscape was soon servicing several notable clients such as Al Copeland, Morton Anderson, Chateau Sonesta, Fontainebleau High school, and Stellar Worley Middle School. As an extension of Tommy's landscaping business, he started the Canary Island Palm Tree Farm in Braitwaite, Louisiana in 1990.

INDENTTommy's son, Tommy Benge Jr., spent years helping his father with the business during the summer months, which taught Tommy Jr. a lot about the Landscape industry and the ins and outs of running a business. In 2005, after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Tommy Jr. joined the business. The tragedy destroyed the entire Canary Island Palm Tree Farm's inventory. Together, Tommy Jr. and his father dedicated themselves to rebuilding the business and the palm tree farm. With the abundance of reconstruction, post Katrina, Benge Landscape, was afforded the opportunity to assist so many in the rebuilding process.

INDENTAlmost 4 years later, the farm's palm tree inventory is back to pre-Katrina numbers and Benge Landscape is thriving more now than ever. Tommy Jr. is now the hands on director of Benge Landscape. The company is capable of facilitating commercial and residential projects of all sizes and in all areas of southeastern Louisiana. Tommy Jr., his father and their staff look forward to the opportunities that the future has to offer Benge Landscape. A lot like Southern Louisiana, Benge Landscape is resilient and dedicated to the rebuilding of the great city it calls home.
